Aileen M Mahoney

Aileen M. Mahoney, 84, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton, PA. She is predeceased by her parents Lee David Watson and Christina Mary Maume; brothers; sisters and her husband of 45 years William Walter Mahoney Sr. She is survived by her children William Walter Jr. Mahoney (Valerie), Margaret M. Mahoney, Theresa Aileen Mahoney, Lawrence Lee Mahoney (Rosemarie), Mary Francis Mahoney, John Paul Mahoney (Jennifer); 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Aileen is remembered as a loving mother and a gentle woman. During her lifetime she was a Eucharistic Minister and a CCD teacher. She was a member of St. Cyril Methodius, St. Andrew's and most recently St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at St. Paul's Church in Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30pm. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
