William Menzies

William M. Menzies 60, of Johnson City, NY passed away on May 20, 2017. Bill was in his home until he passed due to Cancer. He was attended by those he loved. His wife Ginger, son Will and his sidekick Ari (Poodle). He was a good man with a strong faith in God and his plan. He helped his family find peace and faith. His grace will always be remembered. He is predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Jenny; parents William and Jean; cousin Tom. He is survived by his wife Ginger; son Will Menzies; former wife and always a friend Andrea Menzies; cousins Jim and Lori Menzies, Nancy Menzies, Sally Menzies, Sandy Menzies, Rob and Jackie Menzies; dear friends Teresa and Dean; cousins Erin, Andrew and Tim were very supportive to Bill, Ginger and his son Will. Golf and more golf. He played since the age of 7, to say he was avid seems small. He also loved chess and more important a challenging and exciting conversation. He had a strong sense of pride in his sons military career as well as his father. His family would like to thank Broome Oncology for all the services they provided. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. He worked at Maines Paper and Food for over 20 years and developed many friends there. He was previously a realtor for both NY and Pa. He received a bachelors degree from Grove City College. He was fascinated with St. Luke and Homer's the Odyssey. He chose to be cremated family will plan to have a Memorial Service later in a place he spent many hours of enjoyment.
