Michael J Cummings

Michael J. Cummings 56, of Binghamton, passed away on January 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother Sally Cummings; sister Julie Freeman; mother in-law Laura “Ma” Beam and ice cream eating partner Max. He is survived by his wife Patricia Mancinelli; daughter Julie (Mitch) Monette; father Robert B. Cummings; sister Kathy (Rick) Sedlak; brothers Bobby Cummings, Jim (Vicki) Cummings; as well as an Aunt and several cousins including special hunting buddies Steve and Matthew. He was employed by M & M maintenance and TCMF. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He loved working with his hands and had remodeled his entire home. One of his greatest joys was having bon fires with his family and friends. The family would like to thank Broome Oncology for their care and support throughout Mike’s illness. Visitation will be held on Monday at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 10am until 12pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Broome County Dog Shelter and Camp Barkalot, 110 Cutler Pond Road Binghamton in Mike’s memory. Arrangements are being handled by Albert J. DeMarco.
