Karl E. Kruger

Karl E. Kruger, 69, of Binghamton passed away peacefully on October 19, 2016 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford.  He is predeceased by his father Alfred Kruger and infant son Jamie Kruger, step-father William Simms.   He is survived by his mother Arline Simms; sister Norma Contestable; step brothers David Simms and Robert Simms; niece Jessica Swanson; Ember Swanson, Brayden; as well as other family members.    Karl served in the US Army and worked as mechanic at Mike Stolarcyk’s Dealership in Whitney Point.  He was a very generous person who would help anyone.  He will be greatly missed by all.   Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.  at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
