Joseph L. D'Esti, Sr.

Joseph L. D'Esti Sr., 82, passed away with his family by his side on November 19, 2016.  He is predeceased by father Frank D'Esti and mother Helen Ozelek.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Carol; sons Joseph Jr. and wife Roxanne of Vestal, and Frank and wife Robin of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Gabriella D'Esti and fiance Rejean Archambeault of Horseheads, Frank and Joseph of Vestal and Lia and Rocco of San Diego, CA; sister-in-laws Grace Lombardini and Joan Pompette; brother-in-law Joe Montone; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Joe retired from Universal Instruments and was a member of the United States Marine Reserves.  He enjoyed hobbies such as sailing, golfing, bowling, fishing and most of all spending time with his family.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Vincent  De Paul Church Vestal, NY.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Danielle House 160 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905.
