Gabriella (Abronzino) Addonisio

Gabriella “Clementina” Addonisio, 92, daughter of the late Joseph and Consiglia Abronzino was born February 2, 1926 in Rome, Italy. She was united in holy matrimony to Michael Addonisio on March 2, 1953.  The lord brought his angel home on February 12, 2018.   Her loving husband, Michael, and infant daughter, Anna Maria, predeceased her.  Her beautiful soul will be forever cherished by her children Vincenzo (Anna Maria) Addonisio, Tampa, Florida, Consiglia (Mohammad) Farzad, Endwell, Joseph Addonisio, Albany, and Anna Maria Addonisio, Endwell; eight grandchildren, Dariush, Brandon, Gabriella (Christopher), Shawheen, Michael, Patrick, Michael, and Joseph; her loving dogs Loli and Amalfi. 

Gabriella immigrated to the United States in 1965.  She was a talented seamstress and loved to cook, draw, and needlepoint.   She was all that was good in this world, devoted to her family and the lord.  She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well and her influence will remain forever in the lives of those who knew her.

Gabriella’s family invites friends and family to calling hours 9 to 10 am Monday, February 19 at St. Mary s of the Assumption in Binghamton followed by mass and entombment at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in her honor to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.
