Angelina "Angie" (Fiato) Thiel

Angelina Fiato Thiel, 85, of Binghamton passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2017 after an extended illness.   She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Frances Fiato; husband and soulmate Norm; beloved son Jeff Thiel; her siblings Louis (Peggy), Rose (Tony), Josie (Bill), Teddy (Nellie), Mary (Danny), Eddie, Joseph, Rachel (Dino), and Thomas (Kitty).  She is survived by her daughter Karen (Tim) Honnick; grandchildren Laurie (Jim) Bendick, Michele (John) Rosko, Michael (fiancée Danielle) Thiel, Rachel Thiel; great grandchildren Zack and Colby Bendick, Taylor and Sophia Rosko; sister-in-law Betty Fiato; daughter-in-law Deb Thiel-Stalker; as well as several nieces, nephews and many special friends.  Angie retired from Lander Co. after 45 years, enjoyed her time at the casino and most importantly loved spending time with her family.  A special thank you to Dr. Kloss, her nurse Peggy Hosh and Lourdes Hospice for their exceptional care.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 10:30am until 11am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas St. Binghamton, NY 13905.  A Funeral Mass will follow at 11am at the church.  Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers contribution can be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Memorial Fund or Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.  Arrangements are in the care of Albert J.
